Born during a search to find the perfect sandwich, Cosi’s founder Drew Harré was just 17 when he left New Zealand in search of the perfect sandwich in Paris. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find that sandwich. Instead, he found two brothers who specialized in making flatbread. Drew became their apprentice and years later would open his own cafe on rue de Seine in Paris. Experience the tastes Drew has developed since then at Newport, New Jersey’s Cosi.
